MAK Catering was founded by Award Winning Chef Martin Koestlin. Martin has been instrumental in delivering award-winning catering at Acer Arena for the past 11 years and most recently was the Executive Chef in charge that scooped the prizes at the recent Restaurant and Catering Awards.
Acer Arena was recognised as the 2010 NSW Venue Caterer of the Year, NSW Caterer of the Year and the 2010 National Caterer of the Year and Venue Caterer of the Year.
Martin has over 35 Years experience in producing quality food and recognised that there was a demand in the marketplace for quality kitchen equipment to be hired.
An Australian Owned company that was formed in late 90’s after a leading qualified Sydney Chef found it hard to source quality catering equipment for hire that actually worked, was not dirty and did what it was designed to do. There was no one supplier in the marketplace that understood what chefs really want.
