About Mak Catering Equipment Hire
MAK Catering was founded by Award Winning Chef Martin Koestlin. Martin has been instrumental in delivering award winning catering at Acer Arena for the past 11 years and most recently was the Executive Chef in charge that scooped the prizes at the recent Restaurant and Catering Awards.
Acer Arena was recognised as the 2010 NSW Venue Caterer of the Year, NSW Caterer of the Year and the 2010 National Caterer of the Year and Venue Caterer of the Year.
Martin has over 35 Years experience in producing quality food and recognised that there was a demand in the market place for quality kitchen equipment to be hired.
An Australian Owned company that was formed in late 90’s after a leading qualified Sydney Chef found it hard to source quality catering equipment for hire that actually worked, was not dirty and did what it was designed to do. There was no one supplier in the marketplace that understood what chefs really want.

A HACCP system helps you to focus on the hazards that affect food safety through hazard identification and to establish critical control limits at critical points during the production process.
MAK catering Equipment is a HACCP certified company understanding the food safety demands on its customers through local, state and national legislation and therefore only offers it clients equipment for hire that meets HACCP criteria.
MAK Catering Equipment can provide you with all the necessary documentation to assist you with in house monitoring of rented equipment if required.
All equipment is calibrated to relevant Australian Standards, equipment is maintained, cleaned and sanitized to meet the MAK Catering HACCP plan and carries the SGS HACCP certified logo.
